SymetiumUI utilizes the accessibility service to provide optional features. These features include setting the navigation bar color to match the foreground app's primary color and the ability to create custom presets for different locations on the phone. It's important to note that no user information is collected.

This light offers various indicators such as audio visualization, notification lighting, critical or low battery warnings, as well as a charge indicator. Additionally, the ring can appear on the Always-On display. Please keep in mind that this feature is currently in beta, so occasional interruptions may occur. If it doesn't work on your stock Always-On display, it is recommended to try using a third-party app. Ensure that both Samsung/stock Always-On Display and Samsung Edge Lighting are disabled under display settings. Furthermore, confirm that the third-party Always-On Display activates properly when you lock your phone and that Always-On Display is enabled in Arc Lighting. Please note that if you prefer not to download a third-party Always-On Display app, you can use the override toggle in the app. However, be aware that this will force a fingerprint icon on the display, as this is a requirement set by Samsung and not part of SymetiumUI.

• Accessibility: This permission is necessary for the ring to appear over your lock screen, always-on display, and to access the color of the current app you're using. It is required for the proper functionality of the app.
• Draw Over Other Apps: This permission allows the ring to be displayed on top of other apps. It is required for the proper functionality of the app.
• Microphone Access: This permission is used to analyze the internal device audio for music lighting. You will only be prompted for this permission if you choose to enable the Audio Visualizer indicator.
• Storage Access: This permission is used to retrieve the color of your wallpaper. You will only be prompted for this permission if you choose to use the color of your wallpaper for the ring.
• Notification Access: This permission is used to change the color of the ring after receiving notifications.

Burn-in concerns: Some Android displays may experience mild burn-in if a single item is displayed on the screen for an extended period of time. To mitigate this, you can disable the default effect so that the ring is only shown when an indicator is triggered. It's worth noting that Samsung Galaxy devices come with burn-in protection that moves the pixels slightly each time.

Known issues:

• This app has a tendency to crash when adjusting position. If this occurs, force stop the app and restart it. Adjusting can be sensitive and finicky.
• Sometimes, the glow effect may freeze on top of everything. If there is no light, turn the glow off.
• Some indicators, like battery temperature, may overlap with other elements. If this occurs, turn those indicators off if the light isn't working as expected.
• Use the AOD override feature only if no other options work.

• How do I disable individual notifications? Currently, this is a planned update. In the meantime, you can go into custom colors and set each app you don't want to be notified by to 100% transparency.
• Is it free? Yes, this app is free to use forever. However, you will need to watch a brief advertisement every hour. In-app purchases are available to disable ads.
